About our group
We are based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire UK & are Advocates for Getting More People Into Trail & Fell Running & To Truly Experience the Freedom of what The Wilderness Provides!
We host a friendly and sociable run club around the Cotswold hills, meeting on:
Thursdays at 6:00pm at Minchinhampton common (British Summer Time) and heading out at 6:15pm And in the Winter meeting at The Markland Clinic, Cotswold leisure Centre Cirencester.
You don’t have to be an experienced trail runner or be able to run 5 km in a certain time to come along, this is a chance for like-minded women to get together and go for ‘no pressure’ runs.
We usually have a group ranging from 15 runners so you will definitely find someone who is a similar pace to you, you will not be left behind there is always a back marker. It is free of charge and just a obligatory yearly membership and there is no obligation to come every week…
We also host workshops & Socials with our running group.
Events include; running technique, injury prevention, fell running for beginners & navigational skills. Socials include coffee and cake and the odd vino in the cosy pub and tapas!
We have also have physiotherapists in giving advice on running training, how to prevent injuries and steps to cure injuries.
All in all, it’s fair to say we like to keep the diary full of interesting events for you!
