University students and staff join us for #RunandRevise

Last week we encouraged students to take part in our #RunAndRevise session.

#RunAndRevise is an England Athletics campaign that promotes running during exam and coursework periods to improve both physical and mental wellbeing, and raises awareness of mental health at university at the same time!

A total of nine individuals joined us, including five students and three university staff members. Everyone enjoyed a 5k social run, walk or jog to take their minds off exams, revision and hand-ins and enjoyed the open space!

After arriving back at Emerald Headingley Stadium we had some well-earned snacks and chatted all things uni and mental health!

Social running is great for our mental, physical and social wellbeing and we promote it all-year round, not just at stressful times! Our Rose Runners run, walk and jog every Monday at 5.30pm from the Yorkshire Cricket Centre (43 St Michael’s Lane, LS6 3BR).
