New Abingdon Session

We believe running is for everyone and is more fun when shared with others.  You don't have to pound the streets for hours to reap the rewards, you just have to get on your trainers a couple of times a week for 30-40 minutes and walk/jog or run.  That's why we wanted to start a running group that suited any ability, gave a great workout and got people together.  Whether you are a complete beginner, working towards a 5k or trying to get beyond 5k, we will guide and support you to achieve your goal.

Are these sessions for me? Whether you are a complete beginner or occasional jogger these sessions are planned to suit everyone. Whichever session you choose you'll find a friendly and supportive environment where you can have fun and work towards your goals with other people at similar stages on their running journey. 

Who are we? Trained and insured by England Athletics, RunTogether leaders have safety and inclusivity at their core.

What if I haven't run before? The sessions lasts 45 minutes, they consist of a short warm up and stretch followed by short bursts of increased activity and then slow recovery sessions.  There is no minimum standard or level of experience, sessions are planned & organised to be fun and inclusive for everyone.  Its fine to walk a bit, jog a bit and walk a bit more.  They give a great workout for the whole body as well as having a great effect on your mental wellbeing too.

What to Wear/Bring? Wear something comfortable, a pair of trainers and don't forget to bring a bottle of water.  

How much do the sessions cost? £5 per session or book 5 sessions or more and pay £3 per session
