Zoe Soppitt

I'd not run for a long time; with working full time, a husband and two kids and trying to fit in my social life, running was at the bottom of the list!

In September 2018 my lovely friends asked me to run with Coxhoe Runaways and said it would be fun and they were right and I'm still running now and loving every minute of it! Getting fit and catching up with friends for a chat all in one go!

Running helps me clear my head. I have a stressful job as a social worker and mental health nurse which I love but at times can give you that feeling of needing some time out so I get my running things on and go off to de-stress.

Joining Coxhoe Runaways has been the best move I've made. It's like having an extended family where you can get fit, talk openly about anything and feel safe.
