About our group
We're an informal group that meets to chun (that's chatter and run) and not take our running too seriously!
We're supportive and only competitive with ourselves - to be better than our own best
In 2018 we held 93 RunTogether sessions for almost 800 runners
Group size is a maximum of 15 runners for insurance purposes, so please book your slot to secure your place

We run weekly Keep Me Going (Keep It Up!) sessions (intervals and hill training) which you can book as your diary permits. Suitable for any runner at 5km distance who wants to improve.
From May 9 2019, we'll be leading a new 8 week course for beginners to achieve 5k through a RunTogether programme at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground. Over 40 runners completed this plan in 2018.
Jog Squad's Beginner plan:
- Guided sessions twice a week (Every Monday and Thursday* evening for approx 45 min to an hour)
- One further run/walk each week will be required as 'self managed run' following the Run Leader's guidance
You can attend one or two of the guided sessions a week - but if you only attend one, you'll need to do 2 x 'self managed run' each week.
Each of the guided sessions costs just £3.75 to attend (discount for multiple sessions booked) and our group benefits from a closed supportive Facebook page to share motivation and ideas
At the end of the course we'll attend Bicester ParkRun together on Saturday 6th July and complete the 5km route
In order to prepare for this course and get to know some of your fellow group members, we'll be hosting a briefing session with coffee (no running at this session!) on Thursday 9 May at 6.30pm at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground (please do attend, you’ll get to meet others in the group and find out all about the plan!)
