I started looking for a running group in 2017 as I felt overweight and lonely. I looked and found Ossy Joggers. I first went with gentle jogger's and was made to feel welcome and felt instantly at ease. I am now 2 stone lighter, and much happier.
Best advice I could give is to try and run at least 3x a week, enjoy it and don't over exert yourself.
