Born in Broadstairs Kent, I trained with BA as an Avionic Aircraft Engineer, before being redeployed to cabin crew. I took early retirement in 2016 after 38 years, and now work in Cotswold Outdoors as an outdoor pursuit product advisor. Since doing an outward bound course many years ago, I have always loved the outdoors, and have since dabbled in Hang Gliding, Paragliding, Kayaking, Walking. I have been running over 20 years, on treadmills, road, and now trail. There is nothing like trail running through the British countryside, exploring all the trails, rights of way and lush green forests, to give you a sense of freedom and clarity.
