I started running with this group 4 years ago. I previously did little to no exercise, thinking leading a busy adrenalin fuelled life was enough and besides when would I find the time? I found I enjoyed running, if at first it was tough when carrying a little extra weight and challenging my thoughts to being 'damaged' or 'weakened' from a spinal injury when younger. However the more I turned up and ran, the better I became and healthier I chose to live. Eating well, exercise, yoga and meditation go hand in hand with running for me now. And this group provides me with great support and inspiration.
