BHAM Runners

BHAM! Runners is a community driven, for runners by runners, running group. Established in May 2016 with the intention of promoting and supporting runners (or want to be runners), who live in wonderful villages Martock, Bower Hinton, Ash in Somerset, UK.

The group has become very popular with well over 80 people meeting for our Monday night session, and growing to over 130 Members, and we believe this is due to the community spirit that we have built up around our group.

We don’t charge for sessions or membership fees, and everything we do is for the joy of running rather than making a few quid from other runners.

We love parkrun, muddy trails, lung busting hills, talking (a lot), meeting new runners and getting outside in all weathers!

So whether new to running and looking for help and support in getting from the couch to a 5k, experienced runners looking for a running partner to explore the nearby trails, stepping up to 10k, Half or even full marathons and beyond, looking for some friends to go to parkrun with, or just looking for a social group to enjoy a steady plod around the streets or trails and then eat cake or have a pint with…. we’ve got you covered!!

We are a registered RunTogether Group and  ARC affiliated running  club with five qualified LiRFs (Leader in Running Fitness) three of which are qualified First Aiders. 

We organise mixed ability group runs on road and trail, a couch to 5km programme, half marathon training programme, junior Section coming soon, strava leaderboard and If you like the challenge head off to local running events wearing our eye catching running shirts and vests.
