Baffins fit club

Baffins fitclub is a social running club for mixed abilities. The club was set up in 2013 by friends Julie and Helen who were looking to find other local runners. The club now has over 100 members and 8 qualified run leaders. The official club night is Mondays 7pm at Baffins Community Centre, Westover Road, Baffins, Portsmouth PO3 6NS.

We cater for all abilities and have groups that start at 2 miles and go up to 6 miles. Each group has a different pace and runners are allocated a run leader according to their pace. We also meet on a Sunday morning for distance and marathon training. We have 2 groups to cater for different paces and we tend to do a minimum of 10 miles.

We regularly meet at other times during the week depending on demand. These small group runs are arranged between members who have met through the club. We are all keen parkrunners and regularly meet at Southsea parkrun. There is always a friendly BFC member there to offer support and help pace you if you have a particular goal.
