We have put together answers below to what are probably the most commonly asked questions to date..

What to Wear

This is entirely up to the individual and the weather conditions on the day. I  would suggest wearing some loose fitting clothing which is comfortable, as well as a suitable pair of trainers, By suitable I mean not the tennis shoes you wore at school back in the day or the pair of converse you got for Xmas. Your legs wont thank you for it!

it gets too warm there is bench where you can leave clothes which will have one of the run leaders standing guard over it the whole time!  If it is raining on the day , we are still on – your skin is waterproof and you get extra brownie points for turning up.

General Course Attendance

If you find you are unable to make the Sunday group one week just let me know , either through the Run Together Group page , text,  email or phone. Please however do try and carry out the three weekly sessions before the following Sunday session. You will feel the benefit of it.

Aches & Pains

It is natural and probably expected for those who aren’t as active as they would like to experience aches and pains after completing the session. This is your body screaming at you and saying what are you doing to me!! Don’t let this aches put you off carrying on they do pass and the more you exercise the less you will feel them.

Thinking of Dropping out?

Running isn’t for everyone and It would be very easy to wake up one morning and think this isn’t for me and not come back – please don’t without speaking to me first. You have taken the decision to join the course and everyone has their own story as to why they are here so let me help you get the most out of it.

Can I bring a Friend?

Possibly but please speak to me first , the course is now close to being full – there maybe cancellations in the next couple of  weeks but please don’t just bring someone along without checking so that I can amend the permit issued by Urban Newcastle
