Running in the group can help you to keep going, building up on distances and a bit faster and with added fun & friendship.

Our weekly regular run is on Wednesday early evenings, from 6-7pm.

We run 5Km routes on well lit roads around the village, usually taking about 45 mins to an hour. There is the option to run a shorter route, by taking various diversions and meeting back up along the route. All runs are listed in the "Runs" section by date and time. The runs are "muster" type runs, where the quicker runners turn and join the back of the group about every 1 Km so that no one gets left behind.

Occasionally we have a go at different sessions to introduce new ways to improve strength, stamina and speed.

Several of the group meet at the weekends and other days and times, so there are opportunities to find someone to run with if you can't make Wednesdays.

The meeting place for the weekly Wednesday's session is at the Shaw Street car park - WA3 5SW (opposite the Rokka Bar and Grill restaurant) at 6pm.
