About this run

If you would like to get fit and healthy and want to get into running, then this 12 week beginners course might just be the kick start you need. Running is also a great tool to use for a healthy, physical and mental well being. Each weekly session lasts about an hour and consists of a gentle warm up, walk and jog reps, then a cool down and stretches to finish. You can join the group any week, we all support each other and no one gets left behind. The basic structure of the sessions are as below but may be flexible depending on everyone's ability, no 2 people are the same. Week 1: 1 minute walk, 1 minute jog repeated 10 times Week 2: 1 minute walk, 1 and a half minute jog repeated 10 times Week 3: 1 minute walk, 2 minute jog repeated 10 times Week 4: 1 minute walk, 3 minute jog repeated ???
