About our group
Beginners (and beyond) running group based in Grenoside Village for those would like to get fitter, enjoy the outdoors and maybe run for a bit of fun. We are a friendly group and we encourage all abilities to come and join us.
Group sessions led by experienced endurance runner and UK Athletics qualified Coach in Running Fitness, DBS/CRB checked etc and also a Leader In Running Fitness (LIRF) so you will be well looked after, we know the area well so can vary routes to suit the groups and abilities.
We'll get you from the couch to 5k or from 5k to a marathon! If you have a goal, let us know!
We meet at 9am each Monday in the community centre car park and are out for around an hour, with everyone going at their own pace.
We mix in some drill sessions, technique, gait analysis and tips for all manner of running related topics including running up and down those hills!!
