We think running together adds fun, motivation and challenge to running and helps you reach your running goals, whatever they may be. Join our structured group run sessions, each including a warm up, cool down and stretches. Over the 8 week series we will explore a variety of run workouts to boost and mix-up your running.

We make every session different and give each session a purpose. As the series progresses the sessions will target endurance, speed, strength and running technique using the paths and hills of Hilly Fields park. All our sessions are carefully designed to be suitable for all running abilities. We want you to use our sessions in your own running, and we’ll give you session notes to help you.

Hilly Fields Spring 2024 Run session series: 8 weeks: 3, 10, 17, 24 May, 7, 14, 21, 28 June (Note: 1 week break in series dates)

Pricing: £75 for the 8 week series. Early Bird discount £65 until 19th April.

Your run leader will be Mary Brooking, an England Athletics licensed coach. Mary has been a runner for many years participating in a variety of events from park runs to marathons and is keen to share her love of running, her understanding of its  mental and physical benefits, and the importance of having a structure to your running to prevent injury as well as improving performance. Mary is also a Sports Massage therapist so brings a unique combination of skills to the running sessions she leads.

If you haven't been to a Hilly Fields Run session before the first session is free with no commitment to continue on the series. It's £66 for the remaining 7 sessions for those who do want to continue or £65 for the whole Series for Early Birds who commit, and secure their place, before 19th April. To book on a trial basis please just select not to pay when you make your booking.
Note: Places are limited and if the Series becomes full Early Bird bookings will take precedence.
 
We know there may be all sorts of reasons why you might miss a session so if this happens you get a credit for a popup session, a dawn session or a "Strength for Runners" session (up to 3 sessions).
 
If there are places available and you join a series after it has started pricing is on a pro-rata basis for the weeks remaining in the course.
 

Logistics: Hilly Fields Run Sessions meet outside the entrance to the Francis Drake Bowls Club in Hilly Fields, next to the Junction of Hilly Fields Crescent & Trywhitt Road.
