Welcome to Kings Heath Running Club

Next run: Tuesday 23 April 2024

About our group

We are back! 4 mile club runs and beginners sessions are available on a Tuesday evening, 10k Thursday runs are ready to book with individual run leaders and paces. Coaching sessions such as track sessions and hill reps are available to book too.

Kings Heath Running Club currently holds runs on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings. Beginners are catered for on Tuesday evenings.

We are an adults (over-18s) only club. Our members range from absolute beginners to marathoners and ultra-runners. Our members enter races locally, all over the country and abroad. We are keen participants in parkrun (our home parkrun is Cannon Hill park) and we always have a strong entry for the Birmingham Half Marathon, providing a training programme for people who haven’t run a half marathon before.  We field men and women’s Cross Country teams in the local leagues.

Hi-vis is a prerequisite for running with the club in the winter/bad light.

  1. No headphones please, no priority on pavements and paths.
  2. Run with awareness and courtesy.
  3. Single file whenever necessary.
  4. Cross roads with care!
