About our group
MLJ running is a ladies running group set up in the heart of Chalfont St Peter and my aim is to be able to provide the opportunity for small groups of runners to develop their confidence and ability in their running. The runs will be based on the roads in and around Chalfont St Peter as well as the many amazing footpaths that will take in the surrounding villages of Jordans, Seer Green and Chalfont St Giles.
The keep me going group's aim is for you to meet like minded people, achieve camaraderie and encouragment from a group setting and are split into three levels. Level one is for ladies new to running or who have not run for some time and need to reintroduce their running at a more comfortable pace. Current availbe runs are on Saturdays at 9.00am. Level two starts to build on the fitness gained in level one and will work towards the 5km distance. Current available runs are Monday 10.15am, Wednesday 6.15pm and Saturday 9.00am. Level three continues the progression and will work towards 5km and 10km training. Current available session are Monday 10.15am, Wednesday 6.15pm and Saturday 8.00am. These groups follow a variety of training cycles to ensure you gain an all round development to your running.
The challenge me level one session on Wednesday mornings at 7.00am is the top level for the run groups. This level as the name suggests is for runners working to a stronger pacing within their run and who will thrive on a more competitive training group.
No one will be left behind, and full encouragement will be given to help you work towards your running goals. Open to ages 18 yrs and above.
New women's wellness walks are designed to enable ladies to meet and chat whilst walking in a supportive enviroment. The aim of the walks is to give you a chance to unwind, relax and prioritise you well being. Open to ladies 18 years and above with an emphasis on extra support for those experiencing menopause symptoms.
