Ben Wood
I started running about 12 years ago running the 100m and 200m and the 4 X 100m relay in athletics tournaments, although very different to the running I do today it was enough for me to catch the running bug. I progressed to longer races running cross country, but still keeping my toe in the short sprints. When I left school I decided to leave behind sprinting and try something a bit longer. I decided to mix my new found love of running with my love for the mountains and started fell running, I progressed to running up Snowdon in Snowdonia and other routes. Since then I have carried on running on and off I must admit but there's nothing better than getting outside and getting the endorphins pumping. I find great pleasure in watching people progress with their running and seeing the improvement week on week
