I was a very unfit, overweight 39yo when I discovered the benefits of running. It's had a positive impact not only on my physical health but also my mental wellbeing. I want to share my newly found love for running. I have received an amazing amount of support from RunTogether groups which have given me the motivation, techniques and confidence to reach my personal running goals. The regular groups have developed my running into part of my weekly routine I can't imagine being without. I have met some truly inspirational fellow runners who have become trusted friends. I would like to meet, motivate and help others in my local community to reach their own running goals whether that be to run 1mile non-stop, get a pb at parkrun or finish their first 10k race.
