Welcome to our running group
About our group
A friendly and supportive group. We welcome complete beginners, those returning to running after a break as well as runners who would like to join us for a run and chat and support other runners. We will run up to 5k on routes around the village but sessions will be adapted to meet the needs of the runners and we will incorperate shorter routes to build confidence and fitness. There will also be some sessions to concentrate on agility, balance and co-ordination, all important factors in preventing injury through running. The emphasis is social, getting motivated and setting acheivable, personal goals.
