About our group

We are a ladies only, inclusive and non-competitive group for all abilities, from absolute beginners to regular runners.

We focus on running and walking for social, mental and physical well-being. 

Running4Me is led by a group of volunteers. We are al England Athletics qualified run leaders and some of us are also trained in Mental Health Awareness and hold a UK Coaching qualification in Physical Exercise for Mental Wellbeing. 

This group was created in 2018 to encourage any lady of any ability to get out and exercise safely and in a social environment. I used to be a size 22 and through healthy eating and running I managed to lose weight and gain some control over my mental well-being - I wanted to share this with as many other women as possible, and that is how Running4Me was born. 

I hope this group will make everyone feel welcome, it is somewhere where ladies can come together to have a little fun and improve their fitness levels at the same time.

We operate four pace groups at every session, including a walking group and a 'Jeffing' group (combination of running/walking) We also operate a 'run back' system within our running groups, so noone will ever be left behind. 

With Running4Me you can be reassured that you will be exercising safely outside, with a qualified run leader and a bunch of other like minded ladies 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
