Running about the place

This is a running group with a slight difference. My name is Sam, I'm a researcher at the University of Salford and this group is for those who fancy an occasionaly run with a little bit of chat about place thrown in. 

The idea is to follow routes which take us through some interesting places, lots of green spaces, and to talk about them as we go. 

'Run tour' makes it sound more educational than it probably is, but I'll try to bring some knowledge of the places we run through, and you're encouraged to contribute your knowledge too. 

Runs will be apprtoximately 5km. It's not a race, so all abilities welcome and we'll stick together. I'd just ask that you're comfortable with 5km. Over 14s welcome and any under 18s should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
