About our group
We are a running group welcoming runner of all levels. Some members are looking for low intensity healthy exercise and wanting to progress from walking to running, others are returning from injury while some want to progress to 5ks, 10ks, half marathons and marathons. Our training sessions are twice weekly. Everyone is welcome to take part at their own pace. These sessions are on Thursday evenings at 6.30 for a flat run, along the seafront and at 8.30 on summer Sunday mornings, near the foot of Beachy Head for a more varied session - including some hills... We also have social runs on Tuesday eveings. Sometimes we may meet at different locations to avoid other events. Do contact us for more details. First session is free and thereafter we hope you join our England Athletic club for an annual £10.- fee.
The group leader, Pam, has a Coach in Running Fitness qualification and is a keen supporter of parkrun. She is supported by Coach Ian.
