Who can join these sessions?

We welcome runners of all abilities, though as the sessions can be quite physically demanding, we would suggest they're most suitable for those already comfortable running continuously for 30 minutes or more.

We all run at different paces, but no one gets left behind!

What can I expect in the sessions?

We usually begin with a few simple dynamic drills to warm up, led by the run leader, followed by a running session that usually lasts between 30 to 45 minutes – we try to make sure we're finished by 8.15pm. The running itself varies from week to week – a typical session might be 4 sets of 4 x 30 second sprints, or a series of laps of the park at different pace – but each session is guided by the run leader, and details are posted on the facebook page the night before.

Are there changing rooms/toilets?

Our sessions mostly take place on the streets around Telegraph Hill Lower Park, so there are no toilets or changing rooms.  Please also be aware that there is nowhere secure to lock valuables so try to avoid bringing too many items with you if possible.
