Welcome to Trail Snails Bingley
About our group
We are a fabulous, friendly running group based in Bingley.
We meet on a Monday and Thursday at 6:30pm opposite Bingley Pool on Myrtle Grove, Bingley.
We also hold extra sessions to challenge you such as hill training sessions, speed sessions and longer distance sessions.
We have runners of ALL abilities who run with us, so please don't ever think you are too slow to join the group.
If you are an absolute beginner, then look out for our Couch to 5K sessions - we will announce the start of each new beginners group on social media.
All of our run leaders are full UKA qualified and DBS checked.
We have 3 running groups which allows you to choose the group that fits your needs and also allows you to flex between groups if you are preparing for a race or wanting a different paced run.
Steady Eddies - This is a group for those new to running or those wanting a more socia and chatty paced run. The pace as a guide is 5km in 40-50mins
Movers and Shakers - This is a group for those wanting a quicker pace or longer run and will normally run between 5 and 7km on each session - The pace as a guide is 5km in 30-40mins
Speedy Stampede - This group is for those looking to run at a much quicker pace and for a longer distance. We normally run between 6 and 8km - The pace as a quide is 5km in 25-30mins
All groups are open to everyone and we never leave anyone behind. We use a looping method which keeps the group together whilst allowing for different paces within the group.
Every session is free to join, in return, all we ask if that you support everyone around you in the group and bring the occasional cake :)
If you have any questions, please do contact us, either on here, or via our Facebook page, or via email: trailsnails@yahoo.com.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
