I have never run before, is this group for me?

Absolutely! If needed, we can guide you through a 12 week couch to 5k programme which gradually builds up the time you spend running and decreases the time you spend walking to recover in between runs. It is therefore suitable for anyone, even if you've never run before.

Can I start any time?

Yes.

How many times a week should I run?

Ideally you should try and complete the group session plus one or two more runs per week on your own.

Who takes the sessions?

The sessions are led and facilitated by a qualified England Athletics Run Leader.

How long do the sessions last?

Each session consists of a warm up, the main session and a cool down. The sesssion will last approximately 40 minutes in total, but this will obviosly depend on speed and distance.

Can I run with my dog?

Regrettably, for safety reasons we cannot allow dogs in the group sessions.
