Foxlee Runners offer Beginners & Run to Improve Courses.

Beginners 2020 courses start on 11th & 12th January

Think you can’t run – don’t worry anyone can run and I will show you how.  There is no need to be fast, everyone works to their own abilities, it’s not a competition. Aimed at total beginners or people returning to running after a long break.

A programme which runs over 12 weeks – based on a walking/jogging method.  Firstly, we walk for a bit, and then we run for a bit. As the weeks go on we increase the length of time we are running and reduce the amount of time we are walking.

In these sessions, we also incorporate fitness drills, to help improve overall strength and fitness, with exercises such as shuttle runs, strength training, interval training, core work and lots lots more.

It will help you tone up and lose weight, and then maintain it and most importantly get you fit in a positive and safe way.

Make new friends/running buddies as being part of a group helps keep you motivated. That’s not all, taking time out for you to enjoy exercise in the fresh air also improves your mental health and wellbeing and if that’s not enough then it’s fun and running is a free mode of transport!

We have a goal of trying to run a 3k at week 6 and a 5k at week 12, again if you can’t run it all then no problem as this group is aimed at mixed abilities and so there is absolutely no pressure.

Open to both men and women and children from age 9.

Saturdays 9:15am Hall Place, Bexley or Sundays 9:15am Danson Park, Bexleyheath

Run to Improve/Keep my Going

These sessions are aimed at both men and women and people looking to improve their running and overall fitness.  We look at many ways to help improve your running and fitness by incorporating fitness drills into the 1 hour session, things like interval training, sprints, hill sessions and lots, lots more.

We also do 3 timed runs 3k, 5k & 10k, there is always an option to cut these shorter if you wish it's there as a goal if you wish.  Open to both men and women.  No need to be fast to join aimed at mixed abilities.

Saturdays 9:15am Hall Place, Bexley or Sundays 9:15am Danson Park, Bexleyheath
