Gary Cardnell

I started running in 1983 after watching the London Marathon. Back then I knew nothing about running and trained for my first race in Dunlop Green Flash tennis shoes until someone suggested proper running shoes. I feel that taking up running was one of the best things I have done. Not only does it keep me fit, but it has also allowed me to make a lot of great friends. If I'm honest most of my social life involves running friends.
