Welcome to our running group

About our group

We are a friendly and inclusive group, open to all genders, and set up to encourage people to try, or return to, jogging or running, make new friends, and have some fun while improving  fitness. We offer a variety of programmes and runs throughout the year, from a very easy level 0-1mile group,  a Couch to 5k group and some sociable, longer runs of 5k and Beyond on trail and road. Runs include a warm up and cool down section, to help keep you injury free, and we have some fun drills and training sessions, including strength training, yoga, hills and speedwork.

We also welcome experienced runners who would like to have fun and help and encourage new runners.

We meet at The River Bourne Health Club in Chertsey, and run in the surrounding area on Mondays and Wednesdays* OR Tues and Thurs* and some Fridays/Saturdays/Sundays. We finish back at the River Bourne Club, so daytime groups can enjoy some refreshments in the cafe afterwards, and everyone can enjoy membership or PAYG use of the facilities before or after your session.

If you would like to join the structured runs but have difficulty with the social aspects of group sessions then please still get in touch, as we respect your need for more patter and less natter, whatever the reasons.
