Ravi Tanna

From not being able to run after a bus and coming close to last in school running events, I took up running in my 30s and could barely manage a jog longer than 3 minutes.

Over the past 10 years it's become a new way of life, having completed countless 10Ks, half marathons and four marathons. My mantra is 'I never regret a run" which gets me going when I least feel like getting out the door.

I have also been fortunate to have been chosen to be one of the official pacers for the Great Birmingham Run, London Landmarks Half Marathon and the Solihull 10K. I am also an ambassador for the National Running Show.

If I can impart my experience and perhaps inspire a few people to give running a go, I hope they can go on to discover the many benefits of this lifestyle.
