Running Jo’s have several group runs all led by Jo Wilkinson. The groups run at different times throughout the  year. 

The 5k Get Better Run is for you if you can already complete 5k (even if you think it’s quite slowly). As well as running to improve your fitness and 5k times the group will develop your running by showing you some running specific exercises and challenging you to get better in a  fun and supportive group. Ideal for those who can complete 5k in between 25 to 40 minutes. 

The 10k Get Better Run is similar to our 5k group but each week we cover a longer distance. Ideally you can already run 10k but want to improve your time and fitness. The group develops your running technique and fitness as well as focusing on running further.

The Beginners Run is for anyone who’s never run before or not for a long time but would like to get started. The group is fun and friendly and will help support you to build up towards 5k. The Beginners group is progressive so each group runs for up to 8 weeks.

The Beginners Keep Going Run is a friendly, chatty run each week for those who like to mix running with socialising. The runs are a mix of running and walking and provide the ideal bridge between those who have just started running, finished their first couch to 5k but don't yet feel ready to move onto another group.
