Restricted return to activity

Athletes and runners

Clubs, groups and coaching/leading activity can now take place in unlimited numbers if it is within a Covid-19 secure environment, otherwise the limit of groups of six (including a coach or leader) remains.

To enable this restricted return Mark Goode has kindly volunteered to be our Covid-19 Officer.  Mark is a certified NEBOSH practitioner,  a globally recognised Health, Safety & Environmental Qualification.  Mark will ensure all of us comply to our COVID action plan in accordance with our risk assessment.

All activity must comply with Government guidance around social distancing before, during or activity.

We must capture pre-activity health questionnaires, including participant contact details which can be shared upon request with the government’s Test and Trace initiative.

Please do not run if feeling unwell or are shielding if others in your household show symptoms.

We must ensure everyone at the session maintains good hygiene and that you should bring hand sanitiser with you.

With these measures in place, each coach/leader is able to train 12 people at one time so in a running group setting, multiple coaching/training groups can be run if the requisite number of coaches/leaders are present.

Informal activity or that outside the Covid secure environment must still be within two household units or groups of no more than 6.

Social distancing and hygiene is still to be maintained and is key within a training involvement.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to keep us all running safely!

Best regards

Nick
