About our group
We are a mixed and friendly group of women - of all ages and abilities - who love running. There are organised sessions Mondays 7.15pm Tuesdays 6.30pm Thursdays 7.15pm and Sunday mornings 9.00am. We usually meet at Petroc Fitness Centre Tiverton apart from Sundays.
We do Beginners/ Get me Started Courses and Improvers/Keep Me Going Courses several times a year. As well as Normal/Challenge me Groups every week.
All the groups work on a similar basis and different leaders take the groups. There are no subscription fees and sessions are just £2 for the hour. Our groups are ladies only so no pressure just friendly chats and safety.
Normal/Challenge me Groups usually cover about 5 miles per session and the routes vary in and around Tiverton as well as including some speed work, hill work, out and backs, straight runs and off-road. We use a loop back system so that we keep the group together at all times and everyone runs at their own pace – if you are a speedy person you may loop back several times and cover an extra mile per session and if you are not so speedy you won’t feel like you are constantly at the back. Monday nights are a steady 5km Group so if you are unsure where to start this is for you.

Tiverton Women's Running Group it's a closed group so search for it and ask to join.
There are ladies who train for longer distances and we have recently had people take part in the Bideford half, Grizzly and the London Marathon. Some ladies don't race - they just like to train, keep fit and keep up on the social side of things!
If you are an experienced runner, a casual jogger or a complete beginner come along make loads of new like minded friends and have a good laugh!
