About our group
Are you are new to running? Have you already started running and are looking to improve ? Are returning from injury ? Or do you just want to get fitter and heathier by running/jogging ?
If the answer to any of those questions is "yes", then our Beginners Groups are the perfect place for you to achieve those goals.
Following on from the success of Beginners Groups run by Tadcaster Harriers over the last 5 years, a new running group has been confirmed for Spring 2018.
The new group, starting on 29th March 2018, is part of the RunTogether initiative created by England Athletics, the National Governing Body (NGB) for running and athletics; with the aim of providing fun, friendly, supportive and inclusive running opportunities for everyone in England.
We have added further sessions every Thursday in June and July 2019. These are intended to be a continuation for those who have completed the initial 10 weeks. New runners are welcome but you will need to be able to run 5k in about 36 minutes or faster to benefit from these sessions.
The cost is £10 for the 8 week extension programme. Please pay when registering for the first session.
