About our group
FUN, FRIENDLY, AND SUPPORTIVE RUNNING FOR EVERYONE AT WATERSIDE RUNNERS 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃♂️
We are a new community group for people of all abilities and fitness levels who don't have the time or confidence, committing to a Running Club.
The minimum age for participants is 16. Children aged between 12 and 15 may be
welcome on some group runs but this is entirely at the discretion of the relevant
RunTogether Leader. If runners aged between 12 and 15 do attend they must be
accompanied by a parent or legal guardian aged 16 or over and are entirely the
responsibility of that adult. If a child aged between 12 and 15 does attend with another
adult (aged 16 or over) that is not their parent/guardian the person making the
registration must have the prior consent of their legal parent/guardian. Children under
the age of 12 are not able to take part in group runs.
Everyone is welcome to join in and become part of our fully supportive group. If you are new to running or trying to kickstart your fitness! Why not attend one of our group sessions.
Why not join us for the start of our C25K. This is a great way to introduce you to start your running journey.
Nobody gets left behind as we can pair members with similar speed and abilities. With us we run at your pace. We can also arrange walking and talking, hiking and biking events.
WE ARE SITUATED WITHIN THE PICTURESQUE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK.
Get Me Started
These sessions are for you if you're a beginner runner/ jogger, or if you've not run for a while and want a gentle introduction. There is no minimum standard or level of experience. It's fine to walk a bit, jog a bit, walk a bit more. As the name suggests, it's about helping you to get started.
Keep Me Going
These runs are for you if you generally run at least twice per month and feel comfortable running/jogging around 5km without stopping.
These run sessions are for runners who typically run at least once every week and are looking to increase their pace and / or running distance.
