About this run

Over 8 weeks, a course for those wanting to start to run. Led and encouraged by experienced run leaders we will take you from complete non runner to running or jogging for 30+ minutes or 5k over an 8 week period. Aimed at completing 5k or at least 30 minutes running by the end of 8 weeks. Complete beginners welcome! One main session per week with the coached group, we will meet at 6:45pm at the Rugby Club on Tuesdays. We'll give you a plan for a further 2 runs each week independently or join us on a Thursday to complete one of these with company. Come and complete a 5k parkrun at the end of the course with the support of the Whitchurch Whippets. The total course cost is just £10 and we will give you a £10 discount on club membership if you decide to join the club at the end of the course. In person payments on the first night only please. Please note that it is not £10 per session, just £10 for the course payable on the first session.
