• ParkRun Lydiard Park 18 March 2023 Far Runners C25k Graduation Run. A chance to celebrate the achievements by witnessing/joining the graduates upon completion of their C25k journey.
• Banbury 15 - 19 March 2023. 15 miles around Banbury. Shorter distance fun runs also take place on the day
• OX5 Run - 26 March 2023 - 5-mile loop around Blenheim Palace perimeter road for Oxford University Hospitals Trust Children's Hospital
• White Horse Half Marathon - 2 April 2023 - 'Level' 13.1miles Starting from Grove the course follows quiet country lanes through the villages of Denchworth, Lyford and Charney Bassett
• Devizes Half Marathon - 2 April 2023 - 'Undulating' course. A PB is possible here but it is quite challenging. You also have the added bonus of two of our very own run leaders pacing at this event.
• Brighton Marathon  - 2 April 2023 - a popular event that is well attended and supported by the FR community.
• Reading Half Marathon - 2 April  2023 A good course for A warm-up for anyone lucky or brave enough to be running a Spring Marathon.
• Westonbirt House Easter HM - 7 April 2023 (Good Friday) 10km and Half Marathon at the stunning Westonbirt House and Gardens.
• Manchester Marathon 16 April 2023 - fast, flat & friendly
• London Marathon 23 April 2023 - ´the marathon'
• Oxford Town and Gown 10K - 14 May 2023 Flat course round Oxford, ideal for that first 10K or a PB. Can enter as a charity place or for slightly more, just pay to run!
• The Lap 13-14 May 2023. 75km (47 miles in old money) around a stunning location with breathtaking scenery.
• Swansea Half Marathon 11 June 2023. Flat race along the coast. It's basically an out and back race. Well supported and a decent race village at the end.
• Thame 10K - 25 June 2023. Flat with PB potential
• Race to the Stones - 8-9July 2023 - Something a bit different! 100K Ultra Marathon and/or 50K running/walking one/two-day event from Lewknor to Avebury.
• Race to The King 17-18 June 2023. Another ultra starting and finishing in Goodwood.
• Longworth 10K - Usually mid-September.  Good mixed terrain course along part of the Thames Path
• Cotswold Classic 10 - Saturday 2 September. 10 mile course just north of Witney. Good preparation for the Oxford half a few weeks later. This has been well supported by Far Runners over the years, and it does sell out quite quickly.
• BHF Blenheim Half Marathon, 10K and Family Fun Run - October 2023 (TBC)  - Hilly course so don't expect a PB
• Oxford Half Marathon - 15 October 2023- Popular local HM on a flat course.  This is a very popular race that has now adopted the ballot system of allocating places to runners. 
• Abingdon Marathon - 23 October 2023
• Eynsham 10K - Usually the end of November - Flat 2 lap course around Eynsham village.  Good for a cheeky late-year 10K and very often a PB as well. This race sells out very quickly!

If you do sign up please let us know and there may be opportunities to 'buddy up' on race day with another Far Runner, and if there's a few of us running, we'll try and get the FR funbus on the go! We can also try and provide support to help keep you motivated towards that goal.
