About this run

This is a Trail running session for people who would like to try trail running and/or join a group. It is suitable for people who can currently run continuously for at least 3 miles (5k). This is not a fast group and trail running is usually slower than road running and there will be stopping for stiles, muddy patches and sometimes areas where it is safer to walk through. This is a 4.5 mile route, starting and finishing at Dorridge Park car park. There will be short sections on road but it will mostly be on off-road public footpaths. We will warm up and then follow the trail route. I would expect to be out for around 1hr 30mins. We will then do cool down stretches upon return. By running with me you are declaring yourself medically fit to run, if you have any concerns regarding your health and running then please contact your GP. Please note that trail running has a higher risk of injury due to uneven terrain, tree roots etc but we will be as careful as possible.
