Starting Running - couch to 5k

This is a coached walk-to-run session for people who would like to start running. It is suitable for people who can currently walk for at least 30 minutes. This is a course of ten sessions with a maximum of eight people. Please book all the sessions - this is being run as a course so you may get behind if too many sessions are missed. Each session will have a warm-up, running drills and technique skills, walking to running (gradually increasing the running) and a cool-down and will last approximately an hour. By running with me you are declaring yourself medically fit to run, if you have any concerns regarding your health and running then please contact your GP. The weather is warming up nicely and the longer days mean we should be out fully in daylight, I recommend wearing layers but it will depend on the night and forecast. I will cancel a session for extreme weather, but I will reschedule. In the case of not being able to reschedule a session then I will refund it.
