About our group

A community running group in Staple Hill for all abilities (ages 16+).

We meet Thursdays, 6:30pm at various locations around Page Park, Staple Hill.

All sessions are free and led by a qualified coach and run leaders. 

What to expect:

Our sessions are designed to cater for mixed abilities from beginners to experienced runners and we are able to do this by doing shorter, interval type running. We believe in providing inclusive training opportunites so typically a session will take place in a designated area such as Hill House Park, Page Park, Pomphrey Hill, or a roads loop (in the winter) so that everyone can run together and not get left behind.  Intervals are short bursts of running (e.g. 1-5mins) with recoveries in between and are a great way to improve fitness but also suitable for those who are new to or returning to running.  In our sessions you can push as hard as you like or choose to run socially or steady, it doesn't matter as long as you enjoy it!

In these times of Covid-19 we have modified our approach so as to operate in separate groups of no more than 10 and expect everyone to maintain social distancing from each other and members of the public. This has limited the overall capacity of our weekly meetings a little but we are now open to new members again.
