An introduction to Foam Rolling

A one and a half hour course introducing the foam roller and how it can be used for both pre-hab and re-hab for runners. This is suitable for people of all levels, whether absolutely new to running and just starting Couch to 5k, through to experienced runners. This is a classroom session so NO RUNNING INVOLVED, but wear loose, comfortable clothing as we will be using the foam rollers. We'll look at: * Types of foam roller * An explanation of fascia and self myo-fascial release * A practical session using the foam roller on various muscle groups * Injury management If you own a foam roller already please bring it, alternatively you can pre-order one through Anne to collect on the night at £15 each, payable in cash on the evening. The deadline for ordering in advance is 11am on Wednesday 30th May 2018. COST: Members of Chew Valley Snails £5 each Non-members £8 each (£3 balance due on the evening)
