Welcome to our running group

About our group

Welcome!

We are an Exmouth group who like to encourage beginners and those of you who just want a friendly social run with a bit of fun. Each person will hopefully find their fitness and running will improve while being in a social, supportive & safe environment. Most of all we hope you enjoy yourself! All leaders have the England Athletics 'Leadership in Running Fitness' qualification and all fees are ploughed back into the group.

Beginners Groups / Courses following a successful 10-week plan, this is a course suitable for those who have never run and those returning from injury. The course will cover warm-up, stretches, cool down, running ability, kit, pace, and all other aspects of getting started with running.

Monday Night Social Runa gentle run, which you should view as your easy run for the week. Relax as you run at your own pace, loop-back at regular intervals to join others, have a natter and enjoy the social aspect of running.

Wednesday Run Night  - This session lasts approximately 40 minutes and is slightly more challenging than the relaxed Monday night run. We operate a loopback system so nobody is left behind. The first Wednesday of each month is a more structured training session involving activities such as hill repeats, intervals, team efforts etc.

Sorry, we are unable to take under-16s, dogs or pushchairs.

For more information, or to join our friendly groups then please just to get in touch!
